It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke…..  But, what happens when you put a monkey into a box with a lion?  I am actually  curious if someone can come up with a good punch line…..  Our phone lines are open!

Well, Not EVERY little girl puts on a tutu and wants to be a ballerina!

One of our favorite families just grew by two little, precious feet.   Welcome Baby Oliver!

It has been about two years since I photographed Jennie and Craig’s wedding at the beautiful St. Clement’s Castle. In fact, it was a warm and SHHHHWEATY day – just like the day I had the joy of photographing their first born, Mr. Cameron. Congrats to you both. LOVE the hats that your aunt made!  More of her woodland creatures are in the mix, but the frog was my personal favorite.   I just HAD to post the frog!!!!

Logan surprised his mommy on her birthday with his arrival!  He was not due for three more weeks but decided to be an early birthday gift to his mom!

Baby Logan fell into a deep milk coma (we call it “milk drunk”) and we were able to get some beautiful images of this little boy.  Little did Logan know that he was going to play model for us that day.  We have been working with Rebecca Sullivan Gardella who is an amazing local knitter!  The newborn caccoon, the turtle and the grape hat are all her creations!  Check out her Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/shop/darkbay

You had me at your first big smile!  Of course, I knew I would love you.  Ever since I photographed your mommy and daddy’s wedding a few years back, I couldn’t wait for them to have kids!!!  And, here you are at 7 months, just as cute and sweet and mild-mannered as I would have expected.  And, as photographing our couples as they become new families is one of my favorite things about my job, your little Charlie smile made it extra fun!

Had to throw in this last shot for all of those who might think baby photography is all “goo goo ga ga” fun!  Props to our summer intern, Miss Lexie Lex for grabbing this shot….  He is even adorable when he cries!

It really can’t be said enough, how much I love my job!  Yes, I love everything about being inspired to pick up a camera and create an image.  Yes, I love weddings.  Yes, I love shooting families and babies.  BUT, beyond that, what I really love about my job is that as a photographer, I often become a family historian. And, in the case of Baby Lily, this is true as it was just a couple of years ago when I photographed her mother and father’s wedding.  Then, the most precious newborn session….. some sessions in between, and now,  unbelievably, it is already time for her first birthday!

Lily is a beautiful little girl – very mellow and sweet.  One must be a pretty mellow little person to allow their tiny bottom into a wicker bicycle basket!  Love how her feet stick out!  Thanks to my friend and neighboring business owner, Karen at So G Coffee (insert – BEST COFFEE EVER!!!!!) for letting us stop her in the middle of her bike ride to use this bike!!!

WOW! Time flies. I feel like I just spent a wonderful time with Lauren and Jos on their wedding day and now I get to see their first born turn one!. I truly feel privileged to have had the opportunity to photograph Luke’s first year.

Happy Birthday Luke!!  You are one of the happiest babies we know!
